Description

The mahogany veneer is actually nice with only a couple of chips and minor veneer loss on the lower right base, however there is virtually no finish on the case. The scrolls are original but they have suffered some damage. The left scroll ear was broken and repaired, while the right ear is an old replacement and a veneer insert was added to blend in better. The dial is a little faded and worn and the finials are modern. The case is a little unusual in that it does not have a lower painted tablet as is commonly seen on this model. Both glasses are original, but unfortunately the mirror is broken. This clock stood in Ned Howard's basement for some time and is quite dirty. Height 37.5 inches
