Circa 1880 8 inches printed paper dial with enamel center and seconds bit, 8-day, unusual brass movement, very rare two weight solid plate mechanism with extremely unusual pull cord ratchet winders, lovely mixed wood case has book matched veneers and original carved top, normally clocks of this type wind with a crank, this type of winding system was probably made so the clock can be high on a wall and wound without a ladder, an advanced collectors clock, excellent condition, recently serviced.
