Description

Longines was established by the uncle of Ernst Francillon, but was not renamed Longines until 1860 when Ernst built a new factory at a place on the Suze River called Longines. He was one of the first Swiss watch makers to bring all of the functions of watch making under one roof (following their American counterparts). The dial diameter is 2.8", the box is 6" square. Note the thread on the corner stabilizer is reverse; turn to right to loosen. Height 4.5 inches
