Description

Novelty alarm illustrated in La Pendule Francais, part 2, page 351. This is a relatively nice example, except that someone has had to replace the original ball pendulum with a brass turning. Note the time is read (on the original dial strip) through a window in the base; there are 5 vertical pillars, in the manner of a gazebo. Folks seem to be finding these in odd parts of the country; all we know is that Terwilliger was getting $350 for them 20 years ago, so they are certainly under-priced today. Height 7 inches
