Description
The steel rod pendulum is a copy of a period example. The fit and finish on this case are superb; the coloring and dense pattern on the crotch mahogany veneer are exceptional. The hood, center and bottom panes all come off in the same fashion as an original. The well made movement has a one piece porcelain dial; cast brass bezel with engine turned pattern, and a separate gong standard for the 2 gongs. This is a seat board mount on 2 wooden corbils. Originals in this condition sell for $25,000. Height 40 inches
