Description
This clock was one the "Patti" series produced by Welch. The oak case retains its original finish, nicely waxed. This clock has a visible escapement with a Patti movement. The porcelain dial is cracked on the inner center section (seriously), while the outer chapter ring is perfect. You might try one of the porcelain repair outfits that advertise in the magazine "Clocks", and also in the Mart. The beveled door glass and the lower glass are perfect. The lower glass has a beveled edge; these glasses came with and without a gold geometric border, and this one is without. For reference, see Ly's Welch book, page 151-B, items 291-294. The hands and pendulum are original. About 50% of a label on the back. Height 17.5 inches
