Description

Some of the brass was a little loose on the base and has been glued down. Overall the condition of the red tortoise shell and brass inlay is good. The original pendulum got lost, and the current one is a modern German replacement (looks OK, and you could probably find an old one if you searched). The cast brass dial has individual chevron numerals, all in perfect condition. The well made movement strikes the halves and hours on a coiled wire gong. This clock was completely overhauled in 1984 by Paul Jahnke of Monroe, Conn. Boulle wall clocks do not turn up that often. Height 46 inches
