Description
Has a perfect porcelain dial with seconds bit and with central winding indicator that doubles as an annual calendar. We have sold 3 or 4 of these Thomas clocks that were complete. This one got separated from its pendulum, but is otherwise sound. Note this uses a compound pendulum, two pendulums meeting in the center at about a 110 degree angle, and suspended just where they join. See our sale of April 1998, lot 372 for a clock using this movement, and also items in the Mearux collection. A real challenge for the mechanical student, or if you have one to copy, so much the better. Height 8 inches
