Description
The cases are made of gilt wood, with floral decorations in the Vernis Mantin style. One of the candle sticks has damage to the paint where someone started to strip it on the reverse side and fortunately stopped when they had damaged just that one side. The ring of brilliants swings from side to side when the clock is running. Has a good porcelain dial with fancy polychrome decorations. 8-day time movement of good French quality. Height 12 inches
