Description
This is a heavy ormolu case with fine detail. Much of the gilding has been polished off with repeated cleanings, however it is still bright. The 8-day bell strike movement has been serviced and seems to be running reliably. The numerals have been touched up on the dial and could stand some additional attention. The remains of a retailers name (LeRoy?) are on the dial near 6. This classic portico design is one of the most popular ever conceived for a clock. Height 19.5 inches
