Description
This case has a lantern style movement that was originally a wall clock with balance wheel. It was later converted to pendulum operation and the brass dial with cherub and crown spandrels added. The dial is signed Andrew Watson. It has been in this pine case for a long time. The case itself likely carried a chinoisserie finish and is now stripped to pine and waxed. It does tick and strike. Lots of eye appeal for the money. Height 75 inches
