Description
This timepiece has a fair amount of restoration. The throat frame and bottom door were made new in 1975, and the 2 tablets were painted at that time, and have a very nice "country look" The painted dial has had some minor paint loss repair and the numbers have been strengthened. The finial and chimney are replacements. The movement looks to be original to the case and is mounted with two side tabs that are part of the backplate. Lots of American look for the money.
