with a nice grain painted case and with a perfect sponged orange and black reverse painted glass with gold borders. Original dial with full signature, a bit faint: HENRY SPERRY and CO, NEW YORK. A nice example of a mid 19th century cottage clock (has 'upside down' movement). Height 11 inches
