Description
Note this Art Nouveau model was copied by Ansonia as the Etruria (right down to dragon fly under the dial). This figure is French, but was copied by Ansonia as Flower (No. 1186). The movement is a well made round French unit, but has lost its hands. The rear bezel screws are absent and will need replacing. Note the statue retains an original brass plaque with the French name "Rosee de Juin". Mr. Semegran like to buy French examples of Ansonia figures to show the amount of plagiarism (design thievery) practiced by Americans. Height 29 inches
