Description
What a clock! Large at 14.5" high, 15" wide. Stylish with the handles on the sides and thecurving of the case. It is also different than others because the reeds andflowers on the sides are molded into the case as well as painted, where normallythe flowers are just painted on the Bonn. Those molded flowers are all goldand more gold was used all over the case than normal. This is a very colorfulcase with blues used top and bottom, yellows and greens in between, and theyellow and pink flowers painted on the front and top. Ly-Ansonia, pages 636-637.Several examples of LaLayon are shown on these pages.
