Description
A transitional cased single trainminiature clock, 35" high. The case may appear black but is actually a verydark mahogany. Overall the case condition is good, a few minor rub marks, but no glaring deficiencies. 4.5" porcelain dial is signed "L. Weigel/InLemberg." No doubt he was the selling agent for the manufacturer. Thehands, wall stabilizers, pendulum bob appear correct and original. The stickmay well be a replacement. The movement is unsigned and although a littledirty, is running well. The movement has a four post type mount and a fixedpallet Graham deadbeat anchor. The weight, although old, is a replacementas it is a solid brass bar. This is a nice example of a transitional casedminiature Vienna.
