8 day special Kroeber embossed movement, plays a popular tune every hour, instead of striking. The clock is running and striking. Fitted with two-tune music box, which is wound thru the dial front and plays for eight days on one winding. This is an enameled iron case, refinished, no gold in the front etchings. Imitation marble columns each side of the dial. Bezel has been polished, original hands and paper dial.Two good, full labels underneath, one give the names of the tunes. Two leverson the right side, one will stop the music, I suppose the other changes tunes.The clock has been completely cleaned and restored throughout. Reference-KroeberClock Co. Catalogue, 1888.
