Description

There are a couple of reasons I canÕt call it perfect, first not a smidgen of a label, second, some repairs made on the right side of the case. On the mantle what you see is an almost perfect ripple. I doubt that the dial is original to this clock. It is new paint on an old pan, signature painted on the dial, "J. C. Brown, Bristol, Conn. U. S." The holes like a fraction of lining up. It can be adjusted to fit, but I leave that to the new owner. 8 day movement is signed, "Forrestville Mfg. Co." Strikes on a coil gong. Both glasses are probably original. This would be a $2500 clock if not for the things mentioned.
