Description
8 day movement is unsigned, dial is signed, "Robert Tastl, Schwechat". 2 piece porcelain dial and original old hands. There is a faint hairline at the hand arbor, insignificant, but I mention it anyway. This clock has a little different look than most ViennaÕs, not because of the lyre pendulum, which may be the only thing not original to the clock, but the long sleek look, different finial treatment, half columns that only come half way down the door, bottom door pieces that are turned out at an angle, and the top that has a very different look. Movement is correctfor the case, and is running fine but I wouldnÕt run it one minute withouta new weight cord. Extra long side glasses giving a better view ofthe burl backboard. There are a dozen or so old worm holes near the edgeof the backboard you will want to fill. The extra long case is slightly over47 inches.
