Description

Made back in the period when mantle clocks were made of walnut, lots of character and originality. This attractive case is carved some on top and base, etchings all over, and good lines. Some little failings like a new paper dial on the old pan, a chip of wood gone above the glass inside the door, no big deal. Everything else is original including the finish on the nice walnut case, signed beat adjusting pendulum, and the glass still retaining most of the designs. 8 day, gong strike on hours. Case is 20.75" high. Ly-Gilbert No. 1141.
