Description
1 weight runs the time train, 2nd weight will make it cook on the quarter hours, (1 time, 15 after; 2 times, 30 after, etc.) 3rd weight runs the quail that sounds the number of hours on each hour. This is a rather large and simple case, large carved leaves and branches, 22 inches high. Some old repairs that were well done and the usual age cracks from the stress of heat and cold changes. 30 hour movement is not signed. 2 old wood birds, replaced hands and bellows, 3 good weights.
