Description

Easel stand in back. Watch type movement, wind and set stem on top, running in good order. I did not attempt to dismantle the clock-watch, to look for a makerÕs signature, etc. Small 1/2" dial is sunk into the case. The unusual feature of the miniature clock is the painted designs on the porcelain. Mostly skulls, some flying on wings, skull and crossbones, and a skeleton that is emerging from the grave.I would interpret the meaning of the scene to be the dead ascending intoHeaven. Just a guess. It stands 3.5" high.
