Description
Ansonia Brass Co. made a lot of movements during this period, but very few complete clocks. I didnÕt get excited about this clock until I started inspecting it for the catalog write-up. This is a really nice, near perfect, 19" mahogany veneer case, no detracting chips or repairs. Two original glasses, putty too; zinc dial has held the paint for 150 years very well, a little soiled but no big deal. Almost a full label inside, dark but can read it in good light. 8 day, strikes a coil gong, running real well. I am impressed with the clock after looking it over. Other than some edge nicks on the bottom board, it is great. Ly-Ansonia gives details of Ansonia Brass Co. but does not picture this exact clock.
