Description

Some bad and some good. The bad is the old (original) movement feet have been moved several times tokeep it solid. I am not at all sure the dial is original to this case andit is very dirty, for that matter so is the movement and case. You can usethe dial as is, have it repainted, or look for a slightly bigger dial. Thegood is the clock is 100 percent original, missing only a label (if it ever hadone), and the pegs that hold the bezel to the body of the case. The 28 inchmahogany case has mother of pearl dot inlays and the bezel, door, and baseall have string inlay. Then there are the carved wings on each side, andthe decorative panel behind the door, all different and very nice. 8 day movement strikes a bell. As dirty as it is the darn thing is running.I would have loved this clock when I first started collecting. With somework, and very little repair costs, this could make a great looking clock.
