Description
The case is made of solid mahogany. The front panel with the round glass slides out to the right disclosing a thick paper-cardboard box holding the clock movement. The dial is also paper. On the back of the box is a full label which reads, "St. Nicholas Detached Lever Time Piece, A Marvel of Cheapness, of careful construction, of proven durability. Warranted to give entire satisfaction. G. E. Roma and Co., Paris, London, New York." There is also writing on the edge of the box but I canÕt read it. Clock is running a little over one day. I canÕt find any information on the RomaCompany.
