Description
FirstI will relay all the good things about the clock. Good silver dial with raised brass numerals, large 20-1/2 inch long mahogany case that has ripple molding around the base. There is a full label-directions on the back door and a metalplaque the maker always attached to the back door. 8 day solid plate brassmovement has the swirled designs, and was intended to strike the Westminster chimes on quarter hours. The time side is running, however if you want it to chime you will need to find another movement with the parts you will need. At least one wheel on the strike side has a bunch of teeth stripped off. Unfortunately, one hand and the screw that holds the hands to the shaft, is missing.
