Description
It is 82.5" tall, and 26" wide at the top, 24" in the middle. Many carvings including the top molding, fruit on each side of the dial, male and female figures, and on the base. Large round wood feet. The carved male and female figures are what you notice most on the clock. The movement is 8 day, 2 weights raised by pulling chains. Strikes bim-bam on half hour and hours, 5 hammers on 5 rods. The movement serial number is No. 58597; trademark on the movement is an eagle over FMS. Themovement is mounted to a seat board that slides into the bracket fastened to the back. Has been running very good while we have had the clock. Brass dial is 11" square with etched numerals painted black, applied brass decorations in the corners. The brass dial, weights, and pendulum, are all highly polished and all have designs applied to them.
