Description
Porcelain dial with painted garland of flowers, French hands, bezel, and sash, all brass. Statue is spelter cast, signed "Eug. Fady", also a metal plaque on the statue that says, "La Prairie par Eug. Fady". 8 day French movement, outside count wheel, bell strike, signed by "Japy Freres", one of the great French clock makers. Marble baseis a mottled brown, with white and pinks mingled in. This is a very nicelooking clock with a nice looking female statue. How can you go wrong?
