Description

21 incheshigh, complete, no damage showing. One tiny flake out in the back, but it was not caused from striking anything, a piece of vein that runs thruthe marble, fell off, very small. You see that real often in veined onyxand marble clocks. Round 8 day French movement, outside count wheel, striking a bell. Signed, "A.O. Mougin". Glass and bronze, back door. Glass is cracked. The prettiest part of the clock is the dial, dial surround, French sash, beveledglass, and the two bronze rope columns on each side. Dial is etched withdesigns, numerals sunk, then painted black. A very attractive, clean, clock.
