Description

The old carved case is 19 inches high, not including the pendulum or weights. Note the pair of deer on top, buck and a doe. Buck has lost his antlers. Notice the unusual tree stumps and other objects. Part of the wood pendulum is missing. The outside has not been restored, but the movement is clean and the bellows have been replaced. This is a 30 hour cuckoo, straight bar type plate movement, plates held together by pins. This type movement dates from 1865 through about1900. One is pictured in Rick OrtenburgerÕs book, "Black Forest Clocks", page97. This isnÕt a creampuff but it is old, different, worth restoring.
