Description
It mustbe a one of a kind as I have never seen another like it. Metal case is 16inches high, 15 inches across the base. The metal horses are 9 inches, noseto tail. Typical French 8 day round movement, bell strike, outside countwheel. Strikes half hours on the nickel bell. Correct pendulum, good porcelaindial and original French hands, and running well. This is an action clockas the horses are jumping over the clock and the jockeys have their whipraised. This is not the thin, flimsy metal we usually see on this type clock, but thick, heavy metal. There are a great many leaves, berries, rocks, andmany kinds of things molded into the clock, so impossible to tell if anythinghas been broken off or is missing. If there was ever a back door it is notthere now.
