Description
on old base with original dome (still has old French paper on bottom edge). A couple of bushings have been added and other holes closed with a punch, but overall this is a well made clock with 5 spoke wheels in the train, and with original fusee chain intact. Also retains original pendulum, delicately made to match the small size of the clock. The simple silvered chapter ring is nicely engraved with Roman numerals (has gone dark a bit from age). Overall a nice early example of an English skeleton. Height of clock frame and turned feet 8 inches, overall 11 inches
