Description
This is a solidly made reproduction of a period clock. The base panel is veneered in what looks like Carpathian Elm burl. The rest of the case is mahogany. The movement appears to be a Kilbourn and Proctor, but we did not take off the dial to look; dial is signed by the maker. The hood does not slip off like the original, but is made as a one piece case. Access to the case is removal of the backboard. Hirschel had a small following for his repro clocks; note he used a weight from Foster Campos. Height 37 inches
