Description

Probably made for the English market. I don't see American clocks with 4 pegs holding the bezel to the case body. 16 inch oak case has remnants of old paper label on the back, no trap door in the bottom. The putty around the glass has been there since the 1800's. Clock people today can't putty around a glass like the early clockmakers. Repainted metal dial with the logo. 8 day, strikes on a bell.
