Description
The original gold gilt was covered with Pa Pa's homemade gold paint. It looks like there may be considerable gilt under the paint. It might be worthwhile to remove the paint. Porcelain dial is signed. No seconds hand. As usual will run and quit, which generally means the movement is fine, just has an accumulation of dried oil and dust. A cleaning should be all that is needed. This is a solid little novelty, no repairs or breaks.
