Description
It has a large 8 day, brass movement, solid plates, running. Striking Westminster Chimes on the quarters, on 5 chime rods with 5 hammers, 3 other hammers strike the hours. Movement and dial are signed "GB". Silver dial ring, numerals inscribed. Subsidiary dials for "Slow-Fast", and "Chime-Silent". Well built Cathedral style wood case, probably cherry, only 12 inches high. The glass has a very heavy bevel. 4 brass ball feet, correct pendulum.
