Description
The movement has wood straps, brass and steel gears, brass bushings. 30 hour, chain pull up movement, 2 weight, bell strike on half hours. Original brass weights, pendulum is early and correct. Excellent restored condition. The mermaids on the side are wood, top is metal as are the 4 pieces around the painted metal dial. Paintings are perfectly done. We estimate the age at ca 1820-1840.
