Description

His calendar patent featured individual adjustment of day, date, and month indexes, yet activated as a unit in operation. The cases and 8 day, time and strike movements, were furnished by the Waterbury Clock Co. This case is the "Hadley", and pictured in Ly-Waterbury No.1616. Walnut case is 22 inches high, striking on a gong. Also is pictured in Millers, "Calendar Clocks", pages 146-147 and Ly-Calendar Clocks, page 42. These rare calendar clocks are almost never found in this 100% original condition. I have passed up buying many that were just unsuitable, not this one.
