8 day movement is signed only, "Made in France". Strikes on a gong on the half hours, and it is running nicely. Live mercury pendulum, one piece porcelain dial with painted black numerals. Fancy machined dial ring. The movement and pendulum are marked, No.3165. 4 good bowed and beveled glasses, only 1 small corner chip. The 11 inch high brass case is clean and brightly polished. Case parts are stamped "81". Generally this size French oval crystal regulators sell for at least twice our minimum, and this one is sure good enough to do just that.
