Description

New Haven was a late entry in the crystal regulator race and made this model to compete with Ansonia and others making nice crystal regulators. 15 inch case is made of heavy metal, finished in polished gold plate, much of which is still intact. What is not gold has turned light green. Not an unpleasing look. Beveled French plate glass on all 4 sides. Only one small corner chip, on a side glass. Case is decorated on all 4 sides. This clock has an 8 day movement striking half hours on a cathedral gong. Running very well. Imitation mercury pendulum, correct and original 2 prong key, and rack and snail strike. 2 piece porcelain dial with visible escape, correct hands. Ly-New Haven No.373.
