Description

Ansonia Clock Co. porcelain clock?? No marking on the back of this case. Marked on one side "No. 28.K". Case is a deep red, many colored flowers on all sides, abundance of gold highlighting. The dial ring although original Ansonia, does not cover the case opening adequately. Therefore, in my humble opinion, this is a marriage. If this were my clock I would put this nice movement with open escapement, in a $1500 Ansonia Royal Bonn case, and put a French or some other movement in this case. I can't identify this case from any of the American clock catalogs. 8 day Ansonia movement, strikes a cathedral gong on half hours. Rocco sash, beveled glass, 2 piece porcelain dial with open escapement. The dial ring is only fair with some chips and lines. I will send a perfect outer ring with the clock, but you install it.
