Description

American Cuckoo Clock Co., ca 1930's. Rare spring cuckoo, double spring movement, runs about 5 days. 2 carved wood imitation cuckoo weights. Strikes a standing gong and cooks half hour and hours on a gong. Bird and gong alternate like a bim-bam strike. Grape and leaf carvings, bird on top. Case is 18 inches high. Old wood bird and about half of a label. Runs and works properly. Some glue repairs on top, nicely done, other parts of the case are very good.
