Description
Massachusetts Shelf Clock, ca about 1950's. Movement is 8 day, weight driven, signed "Foster Campos, Model "S" No.5416". There is only one winding arbor but it has a passing strike feature, once on the hours.Outstanding Tiger Maple and Cherry case, 4 turned feet, 2 door latches, brass finial. Weight is apparently an old regulator weight but it does its job, the clock is running. The beautiful glass is a copy of an Aaron Willard shelf clock glass, expertly copied by Tom Moberg. The glass reads, "Aaron Willard, Boston". The metal dial is the same size as the top door
