Description

It is a 30 hour wood movement, 2 weight, clock. The stenciling on the half columns and the splat is original and very legible, just grimy, as is the entire 33" mahogany veneer case. There is one piece of veneer to repair, top of the door, and a poorly repaired piece between the glasses. The wood movement, although very dirty, has no broken teeth and is running freely. The cords need to be replaced before doing any serious running. Weights and pendulum are period. The old wood dial has good paint and the gold is bright. About 90% of the label, the loss is in the weight chutes. Good door lock and escutcheon, no key. Replaced top glass, mirror is very possibly original.
