Description
A fine porcelain wall clock made in the Black Forest of Germany. They were produced with many different shapes of sheilds, very often a local scene was painted above the dial. The dials were porcelain also with fancy black hands and roman numerals. The movement is encased in a wooden housing with latched side doors and has brass gearing. The clock runs one day on a pulling up of the chains. To keep the clock going perpetually, raise the weights at the same time each day. The clock strikes the half and full hour on a gong.
