Description

Swiss, No. 4079, circa 1920. Very fine silver, enamel and agate, eight-day going minute repeating, carriage clock. C. Rectangular, of blue flinque enamel with white champleve enamel bezel and lined borders. Rectangular grey agate base and moon-stone repeating button at the top. D. White enamel with Arabic numerals. Rose-diamond set arrow hands. M. Rectangular gilt brass, "Nocturne" with going barrel, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Repeating on gongs. Signed and numbered on the movement. Dim. 75 x 52 x 55 mm.
