French, circa 1890. Fine and unusual gilt brass and enamel, oval eight-day going small carriage clock. C. Oval gilt brass with glazed top, side panels and back door with cloisonne enamelled floral decoration in a geometrical pattern, the front dial plate decorated en suite. D. White enamel with Roman numerals. Blued steel "spade" hands. M. Brass rectangular with going barrel, platform lateral lever escapement, bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Dim. 77 x 58 x 50 mm., excluding the handle.
