This beautiful gilt clock has been professionally cleaned and the statue is brilliant with its original mercurial gilding. The statute and the other articles that make up the layout are beautifully sculptured with fine detail. The silvered dial is tarnished a little and the numbers could be strengthened. The hands are original. The brass movement is regulated by a silk thread suspension. With typical round French, silk thread, bell strike movement. An extremely impressive clock.
