Description

The doors have been painted gold at one time, but gold leafing may still be there under the paint. The bottom bracket has its original gold leaf with some damage that is easily repaired. The original dial is clean with just a little flaking along the edge. The movement is signed "Derry Mfg Co, Derry, NH", and with serial number 352. The steel screws that join the plates have a little rust from storage and need to be attended to. The pinions are rust free. This firm was in business from 1908 to 1911 and was eventually sold to the Herschede Hall Clock Co., in 1912. A scarce item, rarely found today. Height 43.50Ó $1,100-$1,400
