Description
This unique clock was composed of a 10 inch gallery timepiece with a throat and bottom added to turn it into a banjo clock. Brewster and Ingrahams must have trying to compete with the more expensive weight banjo clocks that were selling well at the time. The throat tablet is original. The bottom tablet is also original but is cracked. The dial has been repainted. There is a nice green label in the gallery portion of the case. The movement is original. We have seen these bring $1000, and this one is not that bad; we have an estimate that should encourage bidding. Height 41Ó $400-$800
